Common questions
Which Great British route should I start with?
The London to Brighton ride is the shortest at about 90 km, which makes it the easiest first finish. From there many people step up to Hadrian's Wall or King Alfred's Way, then the Scottish North Coast, and eventually the full Land's End to John O'Groats.
Do I have to be in the UK to take one on?
Not at all. Every route is a virtual target, so you can ride, run or walk your distance anywhere in the world and still complete a great British route. Your local roads, treadmill miles and weekend walks all count.
Can I take on more than one at once?
Yes, and how many at the same time depends on the type. As Casual rallies a paid plan lets you run several at once, while the free plan keeps one active at a time. As Conquests a paid plan gives you one active per discipline, so you could take one on the bike and another on foot or on the run at the same time, and the free plan includes one Conquest. Conquer every route to complete the set and earn the series award.
What is the longest route in the series?
Land's End to John O'Groats, the classic end-to-end, at about 1,390 km (roughly 864 miles) from the tip of Cornwall to the far north of Scotland.
